MSD is the leader in human rights programming, and we apply a similar rights-based approach to all our programs. For example, our work to support CAFTA-DR labor law enforcement mechanisms reinforces our commitment to protect and improve the rights of workers in Central America. In Colombia, we work to promote and protect the human rights of Afro-Colombian and other indigenous people. Technical assistance to the Family Courts in Egypt reflects our commitment to expand and protect the rights of all women. MSD is committed to safeguarding the rights of vulnerable populations – women, children, the disabled, the displaced and other minority groups – throughout the world.
